HTML 1.0 and the birth of the world wide web

In 1995 All Games Network started as an idea for a video game talk radio station and news site. Before blogging and podcasts, Scot Rubin bought allgames.com as a place to write about gaming news, reviews, free demos, screen shots, drivers, videos and more.

Over the next 10 years, All Games Network would produce over 1000 hours of video game centric “interactive television” from studios at 600 Broadway in NYC.

All Games Network was also the first to produce live television style coverage from E3 in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000

Over 50 people have been involved in creating content for All Games Network over the years and more than 250 video game developers, CEO’s, artists, PR reps and gamers have been on various AGN shows and industry event coverage.

As the dot-com bubble began to burst, Scot and key members of the AGN team moved from NYC to Hollywood to begin developing G4tv for Comcast.

The network would go on the air just 2 years later with a variety of All Games Network team members leading the way.
